Penerangan Pekerjaan - MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER - CREDIT ADMINISTRATION & OPERATIONS, DOCUMENTATION

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all Factoring Documentation (FD) & disbursement to ensure deliverables are achieved within the service standard.
  • Attend, advice and guide the team on documentation issues which include but not limited to issuance of Letter of Offer, vetting of documents and follow-up on the progress of documentation with relevant department and lawyers.
  • Prepare and sign FD upon approval of Credit Application within the desired turn-around time after approval, in accordance to the approved terms & conditions and in line with the Company’s standard format.
  • Review of draft / executed facility documents such as letters of offer and security documents against approvals, post acceptance documentation checks, preparation of instructions to solicitor.
  • Monitor record of acceptance of FD to ensure compliance within the acceptance period.
  • Monitor security documentation process to ensure completion and facility disbursement within the targeted timeline.
  • Monitor pre-disbursement conditions to ensure compliance of approval terms.
  • Monitor and manage post disbursement conditions to ensure facility is in compliance with the approval terms and/or Credit Policy.
  • Maintain documentation report registering the dates of loan issuance/acceptance, follow up with solicitor, up to disbursement date to allow tracking of disbursement turn-around time to meet the target set.
  • Perform checks to ensure legal and security documentation are completed, conditions precedent is fulfilled prior to activation of facilities, monitoring of conditions subsequent and ensure that the legal and security documents are in safe custody.
  • Ensure credit file maintenance is conducted including house-keeping.
  • Manage day-to-day business transactions to ensure that the agreed turnaround time with the business is met.
  • Ensures accuracy, efficiency and meets the agreed turnaround time while minimizing operational risks and losses.
  • Able to contribute to process improvements and participate in ad-hoc projects.
  • Responsible to ensure client’s request/issue is attended and resolved timely & effectively.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree/Professional Qualifications in Business, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 - 8 years experience in Banking and/or other Financial Institutions, involving documentation preparations. Those with experience in a Factoring Company and/or Commercial/SME Banking have an added advantage.
  • Language: Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia, spoken and written.
  • Competent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office software particularly in Word and Excel.
  • Good knowledge of overall Credit Administration process. Knowledge of loan processing practices, methods and procedures.
  • Experience in processing of documentation and releasing of SME, Commercial, Corporate or Syndicated loans is preferred.
