At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Managed Services business across finance, accounting, and risk solutions. This role focuses on engaging multinational corporations (MNCs) and large Malaysian corporates, helping them transform and outsource non-core support services through scalable, technology-enabled solutions.
This is a consultative, solution-selling role, requiring a strong commercial mindset, deep understanding of business operations, and the ability to position integrated service offerings that deliver measurable outcomes beyond cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
Develop and maintain C-suite and senior stakeholder relationships within target MNCs and large corporates
Understand client business challenges and position tailored managed service solutions
Act as a trusted advisor on outsourcing strategies, operating model transformation, and cost optimisation
Go-to-Market Execution
Execute go-to-market strategies to drive awareness and demand for managed services offerings
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts across finance, accounting, risk, HR, and corporate services
Identify cross-selling opportunities and drive integrated solutions across service lines
Market Development & Positioning
Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and outsourcing demand drivers in Malaysia and the region
Contribute to thought leadership, client campaigns, and industry engagements to enhance brand presence
Provide market feedback to shape service offerings, pricing strategies, and commercial positioning
Skills & Competencies Required
Commercial & Sales Capabilities
Strong consultative selling skills with experience in solution-based or complex B2B sales
Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in professional services or outsourcing environments
Technical & Domain Knowledge
Good understanding of finance and accounting operations (e.g. AP, AR, reporting, financial close) and/or risk and compliance processes
Familiarity with managed services, outsourcing models, or shared services environments
Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to large corporates and MNCs
Stakeholder & Collaboration Skills
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams (finance, HR, risk, technology)
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly
High level of business acumen and problem-solving capability

Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
6 to10 years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles within:
-Professional services
-Managed services / outsourcing
-Consulting or BPO environments
Experience selling to MNCs or large Malaysian corporates is highly preferred
Prior exposure to finance, accounting, risk, or corporate support service offerings is advantageous
