Manager, Credit Assessment (Share Margin) - Join a Market Leader

Undertake credit evaluation and prepare credit assessment reports for share margin financing with recommendations for approval and undertake any assignments or responsibilities under Credit Equity Broking as assigned from time to time.

1.Pre-Approval activities and operations of Share Margin

• Assess and prepare credit assessment report (CAR) for GCC & Board paper (new / review / update / addition / variation) and responsible for all activities associated with pre-disbursement of credit.
• Credit research, review and updated market information particularly on companies listed on BURSA Malaysia.
• Undertake all activities associated with pre-disbursement of share margin financing.

2.Compliance with policies, procedures and rules and regulation.

• To ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures and rules and regulation.
• Guiding team members on the requirements and compliance of guidelines issued by regulators and internal P&P.

3.Policy and Procedure Maintenance

• Periodically updating, streamlining, improving P&Ps to ensure the accuracy and prudent practice in various aspect and in line with latest rules and regulations and keeping abreast with industry practices, rules and regulations.
• Undertake review and update of Policies and Procedures.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent Professional Qualification
• Minimum 5 years working experience in financial institution with at least 3 credit assessment or share margin financing
• Proficient in written & spoken English
