Manager, Crewing Operations - Excellent Benefits Package

Key Responsibilities

• Crew Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee the deployment of offshore crew members for various projects, ensuring that staffing levels meet operational requirements.
• Recruitment and Selection: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified crew members. Conduct interviews and select candidates in accordance with company policies.
• Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to ensure crew members are adequately trained and certified to meet industry and company standards.
• Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with all applicable maritime and offshore regulations, including safety, labor, and environmental laws. Keep abreast of changes in regulations and update policies and procedures accordingly.
• Crew Welfare: Oversee crew welfare programs, addressing any concerns related to health, safety, and general well-being. Manage crew rotations and ensure a healthy work-life balance.
• Logistics and Documentation: Coordinate travel, visas, and other logistical requirements for crew members. Maintain accurate records of crew deployments, certifications, and other related documentation.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between crew members, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
• Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to crew members. Address performance issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets related to crewing operations. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety and quality
   

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore crewing operations or related maritime roles.
• Certifications: Relevant maritime certifications and training are required. STCW certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of offshore regulations, including SOLAS, STCW, and ISM. Knowledge of labor laws and maritime employment practices.
• Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using crewing management software and other relevant tools.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Team Leadership: Experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on employee development and motivation.
• Language: Proficiency in English is required. Additional languages are a plus.
