Manager, Facilities & Project Management - Join a Market Leader

Job Summary :

The Head of Facilities Management is responsible for overseeing and managing the operation and maintenance of airport facilities while also managing various projects to enhance infrastructure and services. This position involves coordinating with internal teams and external contractors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, budgetary constraints, and project timelines.

Requirements :

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, Project Management, or related field.

•Proven experience in facilities management, project management, or a related role, preferably in the aviation industry.

•Minimum 7 - 10 years of working experience as executive specializing in plans, develop, construction. Maintenance works related in aerodrome facilities are encouraged to apply.

•Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, standards, and best practices related to airport facilities and project management.

•Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

•Proficiency in project management tools and software.

•Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

•Holding a BO 11kV Chargeman certification from EC is considered advantageous.

Job Responsibilities :

•Lead and supervise the facilities management team in maintaining airport facilities, including landside and airside areas, in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

•Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure the smooth operation of airport infrastructure and equipment.

•Manage facility improvement projects from inception to completion, including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

•Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize infrastructure upgrades, renovations, and expansion initiatives to meet the evolving needs of the airport and its users.

•Coordinate with regulatory authorities, such as CAAM and ICAO, to ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental standards.

•Monitor and control project budgets, expenses, and procurement activities to optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.

•Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the condition of airport facilities and identify areas for improvement or repair.

•Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure the availability of reliable and cost-effective support services.

•Provide leadership and guidance to the facilities management team, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

•Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management regarding facility performance, project status, and strategic initiatives.
