- The ideal Finance Manager takes charge of the financial health of the company by administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements.
- Should be familiar with audits, invoices, and budget preparations.
- Expected to manage accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Supreme organisational and time management skills are crucial for this role.
Non-Exhaustive List of Responsibilities:
- Keep an accurate record of all transactions.
- Prepare balance sheets and process invoices.
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Update internal systems with financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Track bank deposits and payments.
- Assist with budget preparation.
- Review and implement financial policies.
Requirements:
- College degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields; professional qualification as a CFA/CPA is a plus.
- At 5 years of total accounting or Corporate Finance experience in Manager position.
- Demonstrate leadership ability, confidence, ability to motivate staff.
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, including any regulations that affect the company’s operations.
- Intimately familiar with common financial software, and proficient with MS Excel.
- Strong sense of ethics, especially when managing confidential data.
- Must be able to work in Klang
