Manager, Group Accounts

• Preparation of annual and quarterly Interim Financial Report and disclosures including Consolidated Balance Sheet, Statement of Equity, Statement of Cash Flows and Notes to accounts.
• Preparation of quarterly analysis for Consolidated financial statements.
• Overseeing the elimination of transactions and balances, eliminating investments in subsidiary, associate and JV companies.
• Responsibility for ensuring that transactions and structural changes in the Group are appropriately reported and disclosed in the Group's external financial reporting at interim and year end.
• Liaising with accounting teams to provide guidance and advice on the technical accounting and Group policy requirements to ensure accuracy and consistency of Group reporting delivery.
• Coordinate and lead the review of subsidiary financial statements prepared by the accounting teams to ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Benchmark disclosure against industry peer's reporting.
• Drive continuous development and improvement in financial reporting processes and Group Reporting packages.
• Review MSGB (holding Company) monthly management account, bank reconciliation and tax computation.
• Assist in preparation of transfer pricing documents for MSGB (holding company).
• Liaise with auditors and tax agent for statutory compliances.
• Assist in ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

• Possess professional qualification and is a member of ACCA/CPA/MIA.
• Minimum 5 years in related field.
• Preferable with audit experience, expose to public listed company & property industry will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet reporting deadlines.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work in Jalan Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur
