Manager, Group Corporate Communications - Competitive Pay

Your responsibilities will be to:

• To assist the Head of Department (HOD) in managing and supervising all functions being carried out efficiently and effectively in order to meet the department’s KPIs and ensure smooth running of the department.
• Assist HOD in planning and providing managerial support to Senior Management with regards to brand management, public relations and events.
• Lead in the development, management and execution of all internal and external communications strategies and media management that is in line with the Group’s objectives.
• Develop and/or proofread all written communication e.g. speeches, chairman statements, articles, website content, marketing collaterals for Group and its subsidiaries as necessary.
• Assist HOD to oversee the process of copywriting and production of the Group’s annual reports.
• Support and provide assistance to Business Units (BU) as required.
• Assist HOD to provide coaching, guidance and feedback to staff with regards to their work performance.
• Exercise and maintain a high standard of professionalism in dealing with business partners and clients and strive to preserve and enhance the good reputation and goodwill of the department and organisation.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects, assignments or any other duties as and when requested by the Management.

To be eligible for this role, you will require:

• Degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, Persuasive Communications, Digital Media or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in related fields. Candidates with background in publicly listed companies are preferred.
