Manager Home Care Services - Urgent Position

Job Description 

Manager Home Care Services 

• Overall in charge of the home care unit and is responsible for the management of all activities involved in planning, executing, monitoring, coordinating and oversee her team in providing care as per established SOP of the Nursing Division, related to home care nursing services. 
• Assist the Director of Nursing with the operational implementation of new business projects in relation to Home Care Nursing Services. 
• Responsible for providing clinical, managerial and education resources necessary for the provision of Excellence in nursing care in accordance with established professional and evidence-based practices. 
• Responsible for promoting safety practices thereby preventing accidents to patients, staff, and visitors during home visits. 
• Responsible for the smooth running of the home care nursing activities in a cost effective manner. 
• Responsible to maintain a high standard of quality care delivered to meet customer home care needs and expectation in a customer focus development. 
• Responsible for the handling of customer complaints in a timely and effective manner. 
• Responsible to motivate and provide nursing staff with opportunities in career development to achieve their full potential. 
• Responsible for the development, implementation and review of action plans and performance indicators in the assigned areas. 
• Maintain records for all visits conducted. 
• Refer patient for medical advice as requires pending on condition of the patient. 

Qualification 

• Registered nurse recognised by the Malaysian Nursing Board with current annual practicing certificate. 
• Post basic certificate in wound care is preferred. 
• Good analytical and problem solving skills. 
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to communicate in some Chinese dialect an added advantage. 
• Good interpersonal relationship skills and ability to recognise and understand the common need of all individuals. 
• Ability to exercise good judgement, initiative and resourcefulness on a case to case basis pending on the condition of the client. 
• Self-motivated and possess a driver for job improvement and satisfaction. 
• Minimum 5 yeas in a Managerial capacity 
• Must have valid driving license and reliable transportation, and willing to travel to patient's home to provide the visits.
