Responsibilities:
- Responsible for to develop the company's annual audit plan.
- Review group companies’ internal controls and operational procedures to ascertain their efficiency, adequacy of controls and compliance to policies and procedures; and making recommendations to improve operations.
- Manages performance of audit assignments, reviews workpapers and audit reports; edits reports prepared by auditors.
- Provides leadership to assigned auditors, manage project to quality outcomes, while meeting established time budget.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies by providing short and long-term planning.
- Work with the management to resolve issues that may have been identified through audit findings.
- Reviewing and verify the draft audit reports to produce an accurate, clear and concise audit report with audit findings, recommendations and management response(s)/ action plan(s).
- Ensure timeliness of completion of audit assignements.
- Liaise with internal clients ( including middle level management of the Group) to clarify business and operational issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Resolve field work issues which include internal client relationship management, analysis methodology, risk management issues, technical issues, etc.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time basis.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience, experience in a property development / public listed company would be an advantage.
- Good communication skills, report writing, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- High standards of integrity and ethical practice.
- Strong ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling of work assignments.
