Position Purpose /Summary

1. Responsible for sourcing and procuring new yield accretive assets for injection to the Fund.
2. Evaluate and assess the divestment of existing assets.
3. To lead for technical due diligence exercise.
4. To lead for internal and external market intelligence and forecasting.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• To compile information related to proposals received or under consideration and to undertake investment analysis for each of the proposal.
• To lead for due diligence exercise of the proposed asset acquisition / disposal.
• To attend site visit for acquisition proposals – to ensure all information such as the list of tenancy, occupancy, specifications, tenure, building plan, etc are obtained as well as determining whether the suitability of the property to be acquired.
• To undertake internal feasibility analysis of the proposed acquisition.
• To prepare relevant information for the preparation of proposal for presentation to Board and Investment Committee meetings.
• To prepare regular market intelligence report for internal purposes.
• To prepare fact sheet for properties to be disposed/ acquired.
• To arrange for valuation and re-valuation of properties with external valuers.
• To liaise with valuers for indicative valuation. 
• To liaise with financiers, solicitors and vendors, as and when required.
• Any other ad hoc assignments / projects as required by the Management.

• Degree/Professional Degree in Real Estate Management/Property Management or its equivalent from College/University recognized by Government of Malaysia.
• Experience in real estate investment particularly experience in property acquisition & disposal.
• Strong business acumen as well as analytical skills.
• Self-driven and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work well with internal and external parties. 

• Minimum of seven (7) year(s) of working experience in property related industry particularly in investment, market research and valuation analysis with three (3) years in supervisory roles.
• Know how the technicality and key processes of property acquisition and disposal is the main priority.
• Require fair understanding about the overall property market.
