Principal Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Develop and deliver products as per the Product Development Process defined by PSC (Product Steering Committee) and in accordance with the schedules set in product calendar. This includes all stages within the process ranging from insights into consumers / distributors / competitors, product ideas generation, feasibility evaluation and conversion of idea into product design, ensure competitiveness in product pricing, product launch, post-launch review / monitoring and recommendation for potential enhancements.

• Provide on-going product support to agency channel in all matters related to products.

• Manage projects related to changes due to new regulations/Group requirements and new systems, which include coordination with other project stakeholders such as IT, Operations, Distribution, Actuarial and Compliance.

• Drive development & effective execution of customer value proposition.

• On-job coaching and development for junior executives.

Job Requirements:   

• Degree in Actuarial Science is preferable

• At least 5 years of working experience in the insurance industry, preferably in the areas of product development, product marketing, or actuarial.    

• Insurance product knowledge, with good fundamentals of the various product structures / platforms and well-versed with the product development process.

• Actuarial background & LOMA certification will be an added advantage
