Manager, R&D and Innovation Engineering & Services - Start Immediately

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the successful delivery of R&D and Engineering projects: 
  The personnel will leverage analytical skills and project management expertise to initiate, strategy, plan, execute, and monitor/control R&D and Engineering projects until closure. This includes proactively identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations.
• Optimize R&D and Engineering processes: 
  By applying problem-solving and analytical skills, the personnel will identify areas for improvement in project management practices within R&D and Engineering. They will then implement solutions to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall project success.
• Promote communication and collaboration: 
  The personnel will act as a central communication hub, utilizing strong communication skills. He will actively facilitate information exchange between various stakeholders involved in R&D and Engineering projects, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed.
• Mitigate risks and manage resources effectively:
  The personnel will leverage analytical skills to proactively identify and assess potential risks associated with R&D and Engineering projects. Through clear communication and project management expertise, they will develop risk mitigation plans and optimize resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
• Drive innovation and product/solution development:
  By applying strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, reporting, and project management skills, the personnel will directly contribute to drive innovation and new product/solution development within the organization.
• Budget Preparation, Monitoring & Control:
  Plan project budget (capital expenditure and operating expenses) in order to develop and implement short- and long-term R&D/engineering/production plans designed to achieve company objectives concerning profits and costing levels.

Requirements:

• At least Bachelor Degree in Engineering with 10 years of experience in related field. 
• Possesses good knowledge in Project management in R&D, Engineering & Services.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies: This includes familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or a hybrid approach commonly used in R&D and Engineering.
• Project planning and scheduling: Ability to create and maintain project plans, identify critical paths, and manage timelines effectively. Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills by simultaneously managing multiple projects across various phases. Ensure project timelines are met without compromising quality or efficiency.
• Risk management: Proactive and aggressive approach to risk reduction, anticipating potential challenges and proactively addressing them. Mitigate risks to ensure project success and minimize impact on timelines.
• Budgeting and cost control: Experience in creating and managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying potential cost overruns.
• Stakeholder management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including researchers, engineers, and leadership.
• Understanding of the R&D and Engineering life cycle: Familiarity with the stages of product development, testing procedures, and potential challenges specific to R&D projects from initial stage to Go to market.
• Knowledge of R&D methodologies and technical knowledge: Familiar with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), Quality Gate process, or other relevant R&D frameworks.
• Proficiency in any project management, reporting, design software like MS Project, etc.
