Job Description

Position Responsibilities

• Product Strategy: Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with the company’s goals and key results.
• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of UI/UX designers, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
• Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and user feedback in order to make effective product decisions.
• UI/UX Design: Collaborate with your team to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that visualize product concepts. Ensure the design is visually appealing, user- friendly, and aligns with the company’s branding.
• User-Centered Design: Conduct user research, user testing, and gather feedback to iterate and improve the company’s design and usability.
• Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA, to manage the product development process, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery.
• Feature Prioritization: Determine feature priorities based on business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility. Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Project Management: Utilize project management methodologies to track and manage the product development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with QA teams to ensure the product meets quality standards and that the UI/UX design is implemented correctly.
• Data Analysis: Use data and analytics to monitor product performance, identify issues,and make data-driven decisions for improvements.
• User Support: Collaborate with customer support and client feedback to address issues, answer questions, and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Documentation: Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and design specifications.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Design, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in Product Management, UI/UX design, or a combination of both.
• Ideally 5 years of experience.
• Excellent leadership skill, project management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma).
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• A portfolio showcasing your Product Management and UI/UX design work is a definite advantage.
• Knowledge of front-end development and technical acumen is a plus.
