Job Description
- Applies ICT and digital resources effectively in the classroom to enhance learning and teaching.
- Marks and monitors the classwork and home learning tasks of learners and provides effective feedback to highlight strengths and address areas for further improvement.
- Very good understanding for Mandarin and keeps up-to-date with curriculum developments.
- Able to report effectively on the individual and class progress of learners in Mandarin.
- Plans and leads two co-curricular activities (CCAs) for primary and/or secondary students in an area of your interest.
- Work effectively with students, teachers and parents from various nationalities.
- Meet deadlines punctually.
- Understands and applies relevant school policies and procedures.
- Interacts with academic and non-academic staff on a professional level to form efficient working relationships.
Qualifications and Experience
- A teaching degree (or equivalent).
- Working towards or completed a higher professional qualification (preferred).
- Previous experience in teaching Mandarin to primary and lower secondary students in an international school.
- Teaching students with various language and learning needs.
- Using technology for learning.
