Manufacturing Engineer - Hiring Now

The manufacturing engineer is focused on maintaining, developing and operating manufacturing systems. They are responsible for keeping the production costs down, while maintaining the quality of the product or service unaffected and have extensive knowledge and insights into projects.

Job Responsibilities

1. Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.
2. Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors.
3. Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
4. Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods.
5. Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
6. Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
7. Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
8. Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
9. Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
10. Maintains product and process database by writing computer programs and entering data.
11. Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
12. Any ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

1. Strong analytical skills.
2. Interpersonal skills, and communication skills.
3. Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments including Supply Chain, Production, Quality and related departments.
4. Well versed in: ISO9001 and related knowledge (APQP, 8D, QC, PDCA, seven basic tools of quality, six sigma etc)
5. Strong sense of responsibility, resistance to pressure, team spirit, integrity, good morality and professional ethics.
6. Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards.
