Manufacturing Technician

Purpose Statement\n\nPart of core team to respond to equipment, yield and process related issues, implement corrective and preventative actions to eliminate repeat instances.\n\n \n\nJob Responsibilities\n\n * Work with Manufacturing Engineers in developing, trouble shooting, standardizing and improving existing production methods and procedures.\n\n * Work on Electronic troubleshooting, PLC. programming, electronic hardware interfacing.\n\n * Maintain a critical spares inventory for key maintenance items to minimise downtime.\n\n * Assist ME\u2019s in investigating and implementing new production methods.\n\n * Assist ME\u2019s in design methods, part sourcing and documentation.\n\n * Perform equipment qualifications and validations, including report writing etc.\n\n * Design, specify, manufacture, test and document production equipment, changes and improvements.\n\n * Interface with a variety of BSIL personnel and with outside vendors when necessary while performing the above.\n\n * Take responsibility for preventative maintenance procedures with an assigned process or area.\n\n * Communicates any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their manager.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nJob Requirements: \n\n * Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.\n\n * Required skill(s): equipment maintenance, equipment qualification, critical thinking, Problem Solving.\n\n * At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.\n\n * Need equipment or tester troubleshooting skills. Having worked on tester PM will add an advantage.
