Manufacturing Technician IV

Responsibilities include the development of robust, capable, cost-effective & safe manufacturing processes, equipment, materials and products. Lead design, optimization, validation and troubleshooting of product/process technologies. Develop/lead the execution of experimentation and testing to enable characterization, optimization and troubleshooting of processes and equipment; summarizes, analyses and draws conclusions leading to effective technical resolution & communication to the wider technical community. Coordinates/directs the introduction of new processes, equipment and materials including installation, calibration, EHS assessment debug, and all associated process and quality system documentation requirements including technical and process work instructions. Lead/support continuous improvement activity - through effective application of Six Sigma & Lean methodologies to assist in the characterization, optimization, troubleshooting and development of efficient, cost-effective equipment and processes. Supports execution and documentation of validation builds, co-ordinates testing of validation units and compiles, analyses and reports on the validation results. Travel to other sites/vendors as part of technology development & transfer activities. Candidate required process at least Diploma in mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering. Hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, including practical skills in equipment troubleshooting. Experienced in leading junior technician and continuous improvement project. Technical Skill which capable to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment. Basic skill in Microsoft office especially MS. Excel and Power Point. Good Communication Skill. Knowledgeable in PLC / Software debug skill has added advantages
