Mercure Miri City Centre features 172 contemporary and stylish appointed rooms and suites with extensive dining options, two dedicated floors of the conference and banqueting facilities, inclusive of the hotel's social hub, Ruai Co-working Space.
We're looking for a dynamic and innovative Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of branding, marketing strategies, digital presence and public relations efforts. This role is key in shaping our brand voice, increasing visibility and driving guest engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement integrated marketing communication strategies across digital and traditional platforms
Plan and manage promotional campaigns, media releases, and brand activations
Manage the hotel’s social media platforms and content calendar
Liaise with media, influencers, and creative agencies
Monitor market trends and competitor activities
Work closely with internal departments to ensure brand consistency and alignment with business goals
Track and report on campaign performance and ROI
Malaysian citizen or Permanent Resident (this position is open to Malaysian candidates only)
Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing or communications, preferably in hospitality or lifestyle industries
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Proficiency in social media management, digital marketing tools, and basic design (Canva/Adobe Creative Suite is a plus)
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand development
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
