Marketing Communications Coordinator - Urgent Role

Job Description

• Assist with copywriting and proofreading
• Assist in research and analytics for implementing advertising plans to increase awareness of the hotels
• Traffic control for all incoming job requisitions and production work
• Creating Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Digitization and maintenance of Stock Library Archives
• Assisting in building and maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship with the Media through constant interaction which includes issuing of press releases
• Supervise social media platforms for hotels and at the corporate office.
• Source and manage vendors for quotations and production schedules
• Liaise with all hotels for necessary information required by the department
• Perform regular departmental administrative duties, including the processing of purchase requisitions/orders

Requirements

• Experience in related fields such as Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Copywriting, Design, etc, is an added advantage
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Hospitality, Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, Public Relations, or Mass Communications
• Excellent command of spoken and written English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Any other spoken language would be an added advantage
• Can handle multiple projects.
• Has a keen eye for detail and high emotional intelligence
• Ability to work independently, be resourceful, people-oriented, and have strong interpersonal skills
• Familiar and competence with standard office suite software
