Marketing Communications & PR Manager - Opportunity to Make a Difference

The Marketing Communications Manager is a strategic leader responsible for crafting a company's brand voice, managing marketing communication initiatives, and driving positive public relations. This role oversees the development and execution of integrated marketing and PR plans to achieve brand awareness, generate leads, and cultivate a strong reputation.

Job Description:

• Managing the organization’s marketing communication and public relations (PR) strategies and activities, collaborating with Product Managers, Product Developers and Business Development team to grow the company and brands within the Niro Ceramic Group
• Developing and implementing publicity strategies for the company’s products and services, including monitoring brand sentiment and managing crisis.
• Developing and managing content for various channels, including social media, email marketing, website, communication materials, press releases and media pitches
• Oversee creative projects, working with designers, product managers, and videographers to produce compelling marketing and PR materials
• Creating and managing a PR plan, including budgets and timelines, and communicating with media outlets, journalists, and social influencers to find new opportunities for PR and branding
• Develop and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders and influencers in the industry
• Analysing all media coverage of the organization and drafting appropriate responses to third party organisations
• Representing the organization at press conferences and interviews
• Oversee planning of company events, including budgets and logistics, sponsorship negotiations and, ensuring that all aspects of event planning have strategic value in reaching the event’s goal and PR value.
• Making sure an event is on track to reach its objectives by monitoring results as they come in and measuring whether an event was successful by reviewing results post-event.
• Handling CSR and ESG opportunities to enhance company brand and increase PR reach

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Advanced or Higher Diploma in Marketing, Communication, PR or equivalent
• Excellent oral, communication, and creative writing skills
• Superior customer relationship management skills
• Building strong relations with media outlets, journalists, and social influencers
• Constant monitoring of news media, social media, and blogs
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft tools – Words, Excel and Powerpoint
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices
• Excellent attention to detail
