Drive New Product Development, co-ordinating with various departments to design, source, manufacture and set specifications of all new products.
Assist in the process of sourcing all customers through various marketing programs, this being via international trade shows, website including leveraging all sourcing websites and other advertising efforts.
Work with Sales Department to maximise the sales and financial returns by understanding the market place and the required pricing, product and trading terms.
Working closely with Manufacturing to ensure that demand and capacity are close to equal.
Work with Sales Department to set and agreeing on product specifications with customers and clearly communicating these through to Manufacturing.
Assist customers with the creation of artwork, creation of printing plates and the speed of such packaging through to production.
Work with Manufacturing to ensure we comply with all Customer required quality qualification’s such as ISO, BRC, and individual Customer Audits
Maintain and track all marketing efforts involved in the company.
Manage the budget of the marketing activities.
Do market research to figure out the market requirements for all of the company’s existing and future products and services for the company.
Do analysis of all of the customer research, conditions in current market in their niche, and get information on the company’s competitors.
Put together and put into practice marketing plans and projects for new, as well as current existing products and services.
Manage the efficiency of the marketing plans and projects in the company
Watch over, review and do a report on all of the company’s marketing activities and the results of these activities.
Compose and manage the marketing budget of the company and develop the strategies for prices.
Be the liaison with representatives of media and advertising for the company.
Must understand and practice company policies (i.e. Safety & Health Policy, Quality & Environmental Policy, Ethical Policy Statement & etc.) at the working place.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 2 years’ work experience or Diploma/Certificate/SPM with minimum 3 years working experience in similar capacity
Demonstrate capabilities in teamwork and interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills (English, Bahasa Malaysia), additional communication skills in Mandarin and dialects most advantageous
