Mechanical Design Engineer - Join a Market Leader

Roles And Responsibilities :

1. Develop mechanical system design hardware for projects assigned.
2. Develop related product specs & buyoff criteria.
3. Liaise with system control department in optimizing equipment performance.
4. Design and create a pneumatic schematic diagram.
5. To source, select and purchase all the materials of mechanical components.
6. Perform project coordination role, if assigned as coordinator / leader.
7. To work with customers in defining the technical requirements on the assigned projects.
8. Make sure all mechanical design & assembly is completed & correct before handling over for sequence run.
9. Provide guidance and proper jigs & fixtures to perform calibration and alignments.
10. Mechanical part drawing, pneumatic schematic diagram and BOM list update.
11. Ensure the mechanical design integrates well with other sections by being involved heavily in the equipment assembly and integration testing.
12. Supervise & provide guidance to junior engineer and technician.
13. To train assembly and service support personnel on specific assembly module and technical application of machine standard components.
14. Provide on job training to service support personnel.
15. To recommend the machine spare part and document in BOM list.
16. Provide technical consultation/advice and training to end-users.
17. Contribute towards achieving management and individual objectives.
18. Any ad hoc projects as assigned by the Superior.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years of working experience in related field.
    

Special Skills & Knowledge:

1. Proficient and knowledgeable in using standard engineering product, material selection, and engineering calculation.
2. Knowledge in AutoCAD & Solid Works, Knowledge in FMEA, DOE and Project Management.
