Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Science or an equivalent in relevant field
- Minimum 3-years experience working in a Microbiology Department
- Specialize in Microbiology
- Strong analytical & technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a responsible, efficient way and to meet required deadlines
- Attentive, independent, and self-motivated
- Well-organized, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively with clinicians & laboratory staff
- Able to work in shifts, Weekend, Public Holiday & On-call
Job Descriptions
- Candidate must be able to perform the lab test according to the specified procedures as stipulated in the Laboratory Accreditation.
- Analyze technical problems pertaining to specimen adequacy laboratory data, and instrumentation; determine cause and rectifies problems in accordance with guideline and procedure.
- Verification and validation various laboratory test results.
- Review and monitor to achieve high quality and implement appropriate corrective actions and/or preventive actions.
- Ensure the instruments are in optimal condition through monitoring the compliance to PPM schedule.
