Job Summary
- As a medical sales representative, you are required to sell or rent out company's products or devices to hospitals
- You are required to work strategically to increase the awareness and the use of company's medical products
- You'll be assigned to manage specific hospitals and be specialised in particular products
- You are required to meet sales targets and to answer queries and provide advice on the products
- You may also have to make presentations and organise group events for healthcare professionals, as well as working with contacts on a one-to-one basis
Job Responsibilities
- Arrange consummable and equipment required for surgeries and attend surgeries in operation theatre
- Assist surgeon in the surgery in order to achieve the best possible outcome for the patient
- Arrange appointments with surgeons & operation theatre medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling
- Organise conferences, workshops and trainings for surgeons and other medical staffs
- Build and maintain good relationships with surgeons, medical staffs and support administrative staffs
- Keep detailed records of all contacts
- Plan work schedules i.e. weekly and monthly timetables or discuss future targets/planning with the local sales manager of other regions
- Keep up to date with the latest clinical studies and be creative and proactive in improving our customer experience
- Analyse sales data to improve results and make sure resources are effectively allocated
- Monitor competitor activity and competitors' products
- Anticipate potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapt accordingly
- Manage payments and deal with outstanding receivables
- Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector
Specific scope
- To undergo training, learn, familiarize and master various techniques in Intraoperative Neuromonitoring for instances, Electromyography (EMG), Motor Evoked Potential (MEP), Somatosensory Evoked Potential (SSEP), Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potential (BAEP) and more.
- To handle the instrument setup in the operation theater in the best way possible to ensure effective monitoring and able to assist surgeons with accurate monitoring data.
Working hours
- The usual working hours is from Monday to Friday, 9-6pm but could be required to commit to work overtime, on weekend or public holiday if there are such a demand.

Salary
- The salary range shown is basic salary including fixed allowance only. Commission & bonus scheme will be offered separately.
