Merchandising Information Executive (Based in Penang) - Energetic Workplace

The incumbent is responsible for assisting in generating merchandising sales and stock-related reports, and other merchandise activities which include the following: -

Responsibilities:

1. To prepare various merchandising, sales and stock-related reports of duty-free/duty-paid products, i.e. liquor, cigarette, beer, chocolate, perfumery, cosmetics, household, food, etc., of each outlet by extracting its relevant data, e.g. purchasing records, sales records, stock holding, aging and retail selling price, etc.
2. To consolidate all merchandising, sales and stock-related reports of each outlet to produce reports at the Group level for the usage of management, operations team and other concerned parties in their periodic operations analysis and decision-making process. 
3. To update relevant data related to purchasing, sales, costing, retail selling pricing and sales promotion activities into the above-mentioned reports in a consistent manner, and to check and verify its data to ensure its data integrity and reliability. 
4. To apply/amend vendor and product listing.
5. To prepare and generate any ad-hoc reports as required by the superior from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement Management or any equivalent.
• Preferable 2 years (s) of working experience in this field for this position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and adeptness in data entry, those with experiences in Merchandising System (IMS) or Navision will be an added advantage.
• Advanced user in Microsoft Excel
