Job Description

* Proactively identify and cultivate new mortgage business opportunities through various channels, including existing client referrals, branch leads, and external networking.
* Conduct thorough financial needs analysis with prospective clients to understand their home financing requirements and recommend appropriate mortgage products (e.g., conventional, Islamic, refinancing).
* Educate clients on the features, benefits, and terms of various mortgage products offered by UOB Malaysia.
* Assist clients with the completion of mortgage applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required documentation.
* Liaise with internal departments (e.g., credit, legal, operations) to facilitate efficient processing and approval of mortgage applications.
* Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their loan applications and address any inquiries or concerns promptly.
* Maintain a strong understanding of current market conditions, competitor offerings, and regulatory requirements related to mortgage lending.
* Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall mortgage portfolio growth of the bank.
* Ensure full compliance with UOB policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
