Job Summary
The Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of clients, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored banking solutions to achieve sales targets and enhance client satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth or corporate clients, fostering long-term relationships through proactive engagement and excellent service.
* Identify client needs and provide comprehensive financial advice and solutions, including loans, deposits, investments, and other banking products and services.
* Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing client relationships, contributing to business growth and revenue targets.
* Prepare and present financial proposals, conduct due diligence, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Monitor market trends and economic conditions to provide relevant insights and recommendations to clients.
* Collaborate with product specialists, credit analysts, and other internal stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions and superior client experiences.
* Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide timely and effective support to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
* Actively participate in training programs and continuous professional development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relationship management, sales, or business development within the banking or financial services industry, preferably with a focus on retail, SME, or corporate banking.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a client portfolio effectively.
* Strong understanding of banking products, financial markets, and investment instruments.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with clients.
* Results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to communicate in other local languages is an advantage.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., FIMM, SC licenses) will be an added advantage.
