Our Finance department is a fundamental part of Doctor Anywhere and plays a major role in ensuring the company's financial stability. We are responsible for advising management on financial decisions that have a far reaching impact on the company's future.

About the role

We are seeking a Senior/Executive Finance who will be supporting the day-to-day reimbursement processing for our business. 

The ideal candidate will have a mindset of continuous improvement and change and will demonstrate curiosity, collaboration and the ability to deal with ambiguity, especially in a start-up environment. You are passionate about learning new processes, keen to interact with multiple stakeholders, and take ownership for the work delivered.

This role is based in the Malaysia DA Office and reports directly to the Assistant Manager, Finance and supports the Singapore Finance Team.

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:

• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts receivable and accounts payables duties and related reconciliations


• Collate data for regular (monthly etc.) billing to insurer/corporate customers by program


• Prepare payment to providers/members regular according to accepted policies/procedures


• Liaise and follow up with insurer and providers for any discrepancies in payment


• Engage proactively with internal stakeholders on daily operation and ensure that processes are performed according to the latest information


• Identify, discuss and suggest solutions to improve the TPA process


• Any other adhoc duties assigned when appropriate.

About you

• Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration or other accounting qualification with minimum 2 years of experience


• Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply as well


• Experience in the Big 4 and/or healthcare industry will be an added advantage


• Required language(s): Bilingual (Must include English)


• Proficiency in relevant accounting software such as MS office and G-suite applications


• Meticulous, independent, proactive, responsible, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines


• Unquestioned integrity and high standards in the work you do


• A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges. 


• Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun!
