Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturing company with a strong market presence in Malaysia. They are looking for an experienced National Sales Manager to lead the sales team and drive growth for our FMCG food products across the nation.
Your new role
Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and profitability.
Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, assess competition, and develop plans to enhance market penetration.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of regional sales managers and sales representatives.
Set clear objectives, provide regular performance feedback, and foster a high-performance sales culture.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 7–10 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of the FMCG food market and industry trends.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
