Senior Full Stack Developer (Java & Angular)

Contract Duration: 5 months, highly renewable
Based in: KL, Malaysia

Job Responsibilities

• 
  

  Develop and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate, and Kafka.

  
  


• 
  

  Build responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  
  


• 
  

  Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs, Graph APIs, and microservices.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage MSSQL and Oracle databases, including complex SQL queries, performance tuning, and data migration.

  
  


• 
  

  Implement data validation, error handling, logging, and application security measures.

  
  


• 
  

  Deploy and maintain applications across SIT, UAT, and production environments.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain source code and CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps tools.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with business analysts, system analysts, architects, DBAs, and cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions.

  
  


• 
  

  Apply AI-assisted development practices, including BMAD v6, Dev Agents, and Spec-Driven Development.

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

  
  


• 
  

  At least 7 years of hands-on development experience with Java and full-stack technologies.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

  
  


• 
  

  Solid experience with MSSQL, Oracle, RESTful APIs, microservices, and ORM frameworks.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with Azure cloud services, API Management, Key Vault, App Services, and Application Insights.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle, and database versioning tools such as Liquibase or Flyway.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with data migration, performance optimisation, and application troubleshooting.

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of OAuth, Docker, and Kubernetes is an advantage.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity integration for customer-facing websites.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
