OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY & HEALTH OFFICER / COORDINATOR - Energetic Workplace

Job Responsibilities

1. To ensure, provide & maintain a quality, safe and healthy work place and environment free of hazard and risks.
2. To promoting and achieve the objective of occupational safety and health quality, work procedures, practices, awareness, rules & regulations, guidelines and compliance to OSHA Act 1949 & 2022 amendments, and other regulatory.
3. To support, assist, coordination with HOD, setting up & implementing of SOP, codes & practices, guidelines and trainings for the safe and healthy work place/ environment for workers, visitors, customers & etc.
4. To identify unsafe acts & conditions, monitoring hazardous material usage & waste disposal, conduct risk assessment & non-conformists, corrective actions & plans, 
5. To keep and prepare records / reports of accidents, complaints, incidents, investigation & etc for the authorities and management use.
6. To oversee emergency responses plans, coordinating fire, electrical and flood prevention activities, safe use of equipment and facilities.
7. Other job scope of works as assigned 

Job Requirement

1. Possess Certificate of Attendance of Safety & Health Officer / Coordinator Courses with at least 2 years of related working experience eg in service industry – preferable having exposure in ISO 450001:2018 and other ISO practices.
2. Preferable – degree holder in OSHA .
3. Degree holder in other related fields may be entertained ( eg  Business administration , communication , project management , ESG  or other equivalent ) – provided able to take up this entire new challenges .
4. Communication skill in English, Bahasa & Mandarin.
5. Ability to work independently, self-motivated, proactive, multitasking, good interpersonal & interaction skills etc.
