Operation & Facilities Executive - Positive Work Culture

Job Description

• Responsible for all maintenance issues within the centre, daily maintenance checks, diagnose, repair, providing the support, assistance, and information necessary to operate effectively. 
• Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
• Responsible to ensure that all the outsourced services are carried out according to the contract and in a proper manner.
• Regular inspection on the power generator (visual inspection, test smoke area, carbon monoxide detectors, check fluid levels and pressure, ensure battery is charged), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Equipment Monitoring System, Door Alarm system, CCTV, Smoke Detector etc.
• Responsible for implementation of facility management including preventive maintenance, housekeeping, information technology, internet, telephone connection and assures security of the facilities for Sunfert Kuching.
• Conduct and document regular facilities inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes. Prioritize, plan, schedule assign and supervise the inspection periodically, and major maintenance to minimize equipment downtime while maintaining optimum operation.
• Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and all equipment (including medical equipment). Oversee the maintenance tasks, work orders and any special projects ensuring timely completion. Document and follow periodical maintenance as scheduled.
• Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations. Monitor, review and track all contracts, maintenance of mandatory records, licenses and agreements renewal.
• To ensure all stocks are properly arranged at the appropriate area. To monitor stock expiry, stock movement and ensure stock take are done accurately.
   

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of a Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
• Experience in facility maintenance will be added advantage.
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.
• Organisation, time management, prioritising and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload.
