Operation Manager - Hospitality - Career Growth Potential

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all departments within the hotel. You will work closely with department heads to implement policies and procedures, optimize workflows, and maintain high standards of service quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of all departments, including front desk (SG), housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.

2. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

3. Monitor departmental KPI and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve operational targets.

4. Lead and motivate a diverse team of employees, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback as required.

5. Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations and maximizing revenue opportunities.

6. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and employees.

7. Handle guest complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.

8. Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services and negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.

9. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions, and recommend strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

10. Participate in regular management meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
