Operations Compliance Executive (UK Support) - Generous Compensation

The Operations Compliance Executive is the 1LOD's first and second reviewer in the shared support hub for the following activities Review of account opening in:

1. Financial crime check for account opening for onward MLRO approval.

2. Review of TM alerts escalated to Financial Crime.

3. Review of screening alerts escalated to Financial Crime.

4. Point of escalation of any suspicious activity or fraud.

Responsibilities

• Review the financial crime account opening queue on an ongoing basis and close the alert or raise to the MLRO for approval.
• Review the transaction monitoring alerts and escalate to the MLRO for approval where required.
• Review the payment screening alerts and escalate to the MLRO for approval where required.
• Act as a subject matter expert for the shared service center on compliance matters.
• Prepare management information reports for the benefit of the MLRO and compliance team to demonstrate oversight and activities as requested.

Qualifications

• Minimum a Bachelor's Degree Holder.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within financial crime with experience in implementing, developing and monitoring performance of screening and transaction monitoring in a regulated financial institution. Experience within operations as part of the account opening or payments team is also acceptable.
• Proficiency in English is a must. Competency in Mandarin will be a strong advantage.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as team player.
• Adapt to multicultural environment and work well with different cultures of people.
• Willing to work during local Public Holiday and Weekend.
