Operations Manager (General Logistics MY) - Fast Hire

Your Role

• Ensure smooth daily Operational Management of Logistics Flow within General Logistics & Oilfield Services (OFS) Specialist Team
• Address Concerns, Issues Arising and Escalations, 
• Attend to weekly, monthly & quarterly business reviews, client meetings, etc, 
• Formulate SOPs, manpower manning and business contingencies. 
• Ensure the team execute Export, Import, Cross Trade Shipments in accordance with BWS Internal SOPs, BWS HSSEQ and Compliance Guidelines, Customer SOPs and KPIs, and provide support where necessary
• Ensure the team does timely submission of quotes, RFQs, billing and provide support where necessary, 

Your Background

• Min 5 years International Freight Forwarding Experience with high focus on Oil & Gas Upstream activities. 
• Demonstrates good knowledge in handling general cargoes (in-gauge), dangerous, controlled items and countries general import/export regulations. 
• Proficient and comfortable with BWS TMS system 
• Strong analytical skills 
• English spoken and written – CEFR Level 5
• Ability to represent the company and to build strong stakeholder relationships 
• Competent with Office365
• This position is based in our Malaysia office
