To safely and efficiently operate and maintain dredging machinery at the EKL (Perak) project site, maximizing sand excavation and optimizingthe continuous transfer/supply of sand to the 2-in-1 vessel. The role ensures production targets are achieved while strictly adhering to maritimesafety, environmental regulations, and company HSE standards.
Dredging Operations: Operate and monitor dredging equipment (pumps, cutters, winches, and spuds) to excavate sand according to project specifications and depth requirements.
Vessel Loading Coordination: Manage the continuous and safe transfer/loading of sand slurry or material directly into the 2-in-1 vessel, monitoring slurry density and distribution to ensure vessel stability.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-start inspections, routine maintenance, greasing, and minor troubleshooting of the dredger, pumps, and pipelines to minimize downtime.
Positioning & Mooring: Coordinate the positioning, anchoring, and shifting of the dredger and pipelines in alignment with the movement and mooring of the receiving 2-in-1 vessel.
Reporting & Logging: Maintain accurate daily logs of dredging activities, including production volumes, engine hours, fuel consumption, downtime, and site/weather conditions.
HSE Compliance: Adhere to marine safety regulations and environmental guidelines regarding siltation and water turbidity in Perak waters, ensuring zero-incident operations.
