As our Organizational Development Lead, you're tasked with a critical role: positioning Compasia as a leader in managing talent, career development, and performance, setting us apart in the industry. You will spearhead the innovation and refinement of systems that enhance how we manage employee careers and performance. Your strategic initiatives and systems will be implemented across various regions, ensuring our methods are not only effective but also at the forefront of industry standards.

CompAsia is a digital and technology company that provides end-to-end solutions for certified pre-owned devices focusing on the mobile phone life-cycle value chain. Our focus is on delivering a mobile phone lifecycle experience not limited to Trading, Financing and Insurance.

What Role Will You Play in Shaping CompAsia's Future?

Talent Management:

  • Craft and implement comprehensive strategies across the entire talent management lifecycle. Support and educate managers with robust tools, frameworks, and processes, focusing on identifying high-potential talent, assessing retention risks, and planning for succession.
  • Facilitate tailored career planning sessions and engage in meaningful career dialogues with employees to enhance career trajectories.
  • Spearhead initiatives in coaching, mentoring, and professional training programs aimed at nurturing a learning culture and promoting continuous personal and professional growth.

Performance Management:

  • Implement and refine Compaisa’s goal-setting methodology, ensuring strategic alignment across departments and clear communication, which enhances the overall performance management process.
  • Develop and utilize advanced metrics and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of performance management strategies, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Lead the strategic overhaul and day-to-day management of performance management systems. Oversee the full cycle of performance management from goal setting through regular feedback sessions to comprehensive evaluations, ensuring consistency and precision in execution.

Organizational Design:

  • Partner with business leaders to refine organizational structures and enhance design, streamlining efficiency and team dynamics to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Assist Business Units in optimizing structures for effective employee management. This includes refining competency frameworks through systematic job grading, categorization (job code, job family, job function), and alignment with business objectives.

What Qualifications and Experience Will You Bring to Excel in This Role?

  • Must be well-informed about the latest trends and advancements in HR technology and practices, including new tools for talent management, performance evaluation, and workforce analytics.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and work collaboratively with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams to drive organizational changes.
  • Proven track record in enhancing organizational structures, improving efficiency, and implementing effective management practices. Knowledge in job grading, categorization, and competency frameworks is crucial.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects and initiatives from conception through to execution and evaluation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. A Master's degree in these areas would be preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in organizational development, HR management, or a related strategic role within large and complex organizations. Experience in leadership positions would be highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively articulating strategies and changes to all levels of the organization and ensuring clear understanding across diverse groups.
  • Strong capability in using data to inform decisions, identify issues in organizational structure, and propose innovative solutions.
