Parts Manager

• Manage spare parts inventory by maintaining optimal stock levels, preparing monthly demand forecasts, and developing procurement plans to ensure continuous parts availability.
  
• Coordinate dealer spare parts orders, arrange timely deliveries, monitor order progress, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  
• Oversee self-operated spare parts inventory, including requisitions, internal consumption, and accurate stock movement records.
  
• Support spare parts sales operations by maintaining accurate sales documentation and ensuring timely collection of customer payments.
  
• Conduct regular inventory stock counts, investigate stock discrepancies and slow-moving inventory, and implement corrective and preventive measures. Prepare monthly spare parts commission reports for the Sales, Service, and Parts departments to support payroll processing.
  
• Maintain accurate inventory documentation, ensure proper warehouse organization, and enforce compliance with company inventory control policies and procedures.
  
• Supervise the daily operations of the Spare Parts Center, providing leadership and guidance to team members to ensure efficient and effective workflow. Prepare inventory and operational performance reports, and recommend initiatives to improve inventory turnover, operational efficiency, and overall performance.
  
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Service Director or Management from time to time.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in spare parts, warehouse, inventory management, or the heavy equipment/automotive industry. Supervisory experience is an added advantage.
  
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, procurement processes, and warehouse operations.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform well under pressure.
  
• Able to communicate in English and Chinese; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
