Penerangan Pekerjaan - Payroll Accountant

**Position:** Payroll Accountant
**Reporting to:** Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
**Location:** Kuala Lumper
**Employment Type:** Full-Time - Onsite
**Salary Range/Budget:** TBD
**Job Description:**
We are in search of a detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to join our finance team. This role involves working closely with the CFO to ensure accurate and timely processing of the company's payroll. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll systems, tax compliance, and financial reporting related to payroll. This position requires an individual who is meticulous, understands the importance of confidentiality, and can navigate the complexities of payroll regulations. **Responsibilities:**
- Process the company's payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure the accuracy of payroll data.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports and statements to the CFO for review.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure that employee payroll information is up to date and accurate.
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to payroll from employees.
- Perform reconciliations of payroll accounts and provide support for financial audits related to payroll.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll tax laws and regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Provide payroll data for budgeting and financial planning. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax laws, and wage regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with financial audits and payroll-related financial reporting. Benefits
