Payroll Senior (Retail)

We are looking out for zealous and aspiring individuals who are keen on experiencing a diversified work culture in a growing international firm.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to build upon your Singapore payroll expertise and experience. You will form part of a team providing outsourcing services and to work with a team of professionals to support Forvis Mazars in Singapore. This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and support payroll processing and preparation of client’s payroll, which includes but not limited to monthly payroll reports, social security administration, statutory filing, year-end income tax returns.


• Ensure deliverables are submitted timely, to a high degree of accuracy and processes are efficient.


• Share technical knowledge and expertise to team and colleagues to ensure payroll reports are prepared in line with the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board guidelines.


• Furthermore, to highlight other possible advisory and compliance issues e.g. taxation, CPF Act, Employment Act and/or immigration to the appropriate experts within Forvis Mazars for further consideration.


• Supervise and support the review of payroll deliverables to a broad portfolio of international clients.


• Garner a deep understanding of your Clients’ businesses to help ensure that Forvis Mazars’ reports and advice are timely and relevant and that a strong “Trusted Business Advisor” relationship is in place.


• Support the implementation and onboarding process for new clients.


• Establish and maintain good client relationships with your portfolio of clients.


• Ensure all firm quality and risk processes are understood and complied with.


• Manage timesheets and leave modules. 


• Participate in any other ad-hoc projects and related tasks as and when required by the Manager(s).

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resource or business-related subject


• Good command of the English Language


• Team player with strong interpersonal and client servicing skills


• Has experience in managing large volume transactions (>500 headcounts) especially in the retail industry


• Has excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage conflicting deadlines


• Able to pay attention to detail and highly meticulous


• Able to deal with confidential materials


• Well versed in Microsoft Excel and collaboration tools, i.e. MS Teams
