At Funding Societies, our HR team is known as the People Experience (Px) team, reflecting our commitment to putting people at the heart of everything we do.
We are looking for a highly driven and detail oriented Regional People Operations Manager to lead and oversee People Operations across the region (including but not limited to Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and India). In this role, you will ensure operational excellence across all core people processes, drive compliance, and implement scalable systems and workflows to support our regional workforce.
You'll bring strong operational acumen, a process improvement mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across multiple markets.
What you will do:
Operations
Drive and uplift operational excellence across all People (Px) teams in the region
Develop and implement efficient HR processes to enhance operational effectiveness regionally
Establish automated SLAs and monitoring dashboards for all automated flows with alerts for failures/errors
Ensure error free employment letters and contract accuracy on first draft (compensation, benefits, clauses) across all markets with up to date legally signed off templates
Represent the company during audit and regulatory checks in the region and achieve zero red flag audit findings in compliance reviews across all markets
Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS and ensure timely reporting and analytics
Improve data hygiene across employee records, performance feedback, and employee related discussions
Oversee payroll and salary disbursement operations across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and India.
Ensure People (Px) practices comply with local labor laws and regulations in all markets
Work closely with vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, taxation, and benefit administration across all markets
Ensure work permit applications, immigration matters, and related processes are handled in a timely manner across all markets
Work closely with the People (Px) team to support and execute related initiatives regionally
Project Management
People (Px) Initiatives: Lead or support projects related to process improvement, automation, employee engagement and strategic initiatives across the region
Change Management: Manage aspects of organizational changes, including communication, training, and transition support across multiple markets
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes and alignment with business objectives
Fulfill any other tasks as reasonably instructed to assist in the business's growth and progress

We are open to candidates outside the traditional Px or HR path, provided you have the operational depth and the hunger to build something that lasts.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience in People Operations with strong knowledge of employment law across SEA markets
Experience working in a sizeable and fast paced environment with a multi cultural, multi country workforce
Demonstrated experience managing employee lifecycle, payroll administration, and/or HRIS at a regional level
Thorough and up to date working knowledge of local labour laws and taxation across relevant markets
Highly analytical, possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, proactive, and the ability to prioritize and complete work in a timely and accurate manner independently
Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to assess issues from multiple angles to problem-solve effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Drive etc.)
