JOB OVERVIEW

Pharmacist will assist the Manager, Branch Operations to oversee the effective management of the warehouse, distribution and logistics activities consistent with the policies and procedures of the company. He or she will also be responsible to manage the preparation and packaging of dangerous drugs.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides drugs and other medicinal information and advice.
• To be constantly updated with product knowledge; company level as well as market level.
• To ensure that the rules and regulations of the Poison Act are complied to at all times.
• Prepares and/or oversees preparation and packaging of dangerous drugs for distribution.
• Assists the Branch Manager to manage the warehousing activities inclusive the receipt, storage and timely distribution of products; monitors the supply and demand of products, inventory management and control systems to ensure adequate stock levels, loss prevention and efficient space usage; develops short and long range goals to address demands for increased storage capacity.
• Ensures that all products stored are in a safe and orderly manner in compliance to an acceptable safety and health standards.
• Assists in developing and maintaining performance measures, working schedules, duties and evaluations for warehouse personnel.
• Ensures that work production in the warehouse meets established objectives, specifications, and standards, and that all-applicable operating policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Coordinates periodic stock take for the branch.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

• Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and must be a Licensed Pharmacist in Malaysia.
• 1 - 2 years of experience preferably in the wholesaling pharmaceutical or related business.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation and requirements.
• Knowledge of principles of supervision, inventory control procedures, logistics and good safety practices.
• Possess of warehousing management skills and time management skills.
• Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork and deliver presentation of products.
• SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.

Working Hours : Monday - Friday & Alternate Saturday.
