Physical Education Teacher/Swimming Coach - Rapid Progression

We seek to appoint a highly capable and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher/Swimming Coach.

The job commencement date is in August 2024.

Job Descriptions:

Physical Education Teacher

1. To have an in-depth understanding of the subject area content, skills and understanding as prescribed in the school’s schemes of work.
2. To prepare schemes of work and lesson plans, deliver lessons effectively according to the learning ability of the student.
3. Develop appropriate assessment tasks, providing timely and effective feedback that enhances student’s learning
4. Take responsibility for a class, supporting, nurturing and taking a genuine interest in the holistic development of all students in that class; knowing each of them individually as a learner.

Swimming Coach

1. To have an in-depth understanding of the subject area content including analyzing swimming techniques and determining skill levels, developing individualized swimming programs, educating swimmers on various techniques and styles, and overseeing training.
2. To prepare schemes of work and lesson plans, deliver lessons effectively according to the learning ability of the student.
3. Develop appropriate assessment tasks, providing timely and effective feedback that enhances student’s learning
4. Take responsibility for a class, supporting, nurturing and taking a genuine interest in the holistic development of all students in that class; knowing each of them individually as a learner.
5. Ensuring the pool or training area is clean, well-maintained, and free of hazards.

Job Requirements :

Physical Education Teacher

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree majoring in Studies/ Education or its related field of studies.
2. Experienced teacher who teaches Physical Education at international school.
3. Candidate is able to conduct the classes independently.
4. Passion to teach and interact with the students.
5. Candidate with experience in I/GCSE will have an advantage.
6. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Swimming Coach

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree majoring in Physical Education or its related field of studies.
2. Relevant license or certification is required.
3. Passion to teach and interact with the students.
4. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
6. Have attended first-aid training.
7. Excellent lifesaving skills.
