Planner (Kulai i-Park) - Hiring Urgently

Job Description

• Update production daily report according to master planning schedule every 2 weeks.
• Plan and print out shipment schedule according to master planning schedule.
• Schedule the supply of raw materials according to master schedule to meet production requirements.
• Plan and evaluate the material delivery process from supplier to production. 
• Assess quantity requirements against planning assumptions.
• Check drawings and Technical Spec according to order requirements.
• Monitor the completeness of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy.
• Understand and avoid risks to minimize impact on production schedule.
• Follow up on material shortages that affect production.
• Utilize Dynamic system and Excel stock record.
• Issue purchase requisition form (PRF) to purchaser.
• Work closely with purchaser on item purchase and delivery.
• Work closely with engineering on drawing and BOM.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure that data is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as required.
• Support inventory checks to verify inventory accuracy with store department.
• Work closely with store department on item preparation for production.
• Issue Invoice and Packing List according to information from production for export shipment.
• Send booking email for export shipment.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration / Logistics / Supply Chain / Engineering or any related field.
• More than 3 years in the related field.
• Those with experience in Sheet metal/metal fabrication is preferred.
• Prior working experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics/Navision) is advantageous.
• Multi-tasker, pro-active and able to work within deadlines.
• Independent and also a team player
• Ability to communicate with Mandarin, Malay and English
• Mandarin languages needed is to liaise with internal and external parties who required this languages 
• Immediate or short notice preferred.
