Planning & Design Coordinator - with Growth Opportunities

Responsibilities

• To document any design changes, update and maintain drawing library.
• Perform on site measurement for preparation of as-built drawings.
• Prepare as-build / shop/construction drawings for approval and submission.
• Generate shop drawings for fabrication of Joinery. 
• To liaise, coordinate and work with Designer and project team for up to-date changes of design drawings.
• To be involved in site feasibility study during project planning phase.
• To set up design workshop internally with project team to go through design brief.
• Provide design input to department Manager during design development stage (design and build projects / tenders). 
• Able to work in fast phase and meet deadlines and timelines consistently.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering / Architecture / Interior Design or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years of related working experience. Candidates with experiences in project operations / fit-out operations of a retail set-up will be an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable in AutoCAD, SketchUp Adobe and Photoshop.
• Good communication and liaison skills and able to liaise with agencies, vendors and consultants.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) to communicate with team members in Singapore and Australia. Candidates who are able to communicate in Chinese and have experience handling vendors, preferred.
• Possess own transport and able to travel outstation within Malaysia.
