Plant Manager - Collaborative Environment

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall operations of the manufacturing facility including environmental health & safety, production planning, manufacturing processes and output, maintenance, quality and inventory control.
• Manage a team of Manager for production / engineering / maintenance / QA, warehousing / logistic and planning departments
• Plan, monitor, analyze and propose solutions for key metrics on the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks and alignment with production planning requirements
• Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs; identifying and implementing process improvements and cost reduction methods that will maximize output and minimize costs
• Responsible for managing the site safety and environmental compliance programs and for ensuring that all employees adhere to these policies
• Controls quality assurance, cost of production, warehousing, receiving and shipping of all materials
• Works closely with cross-functional peers to support company-wide business initiatives.
• Support direct contact with customers on complaints and service matters as required.
• Identify training needs and ensure proper training is developed and provided

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline (Engineering / Science or related)
• 8-10+ years leadership experience in manufacturing operations, preferably with OEM or contract manufacturer
• Demonstrated excellence in driving continuous improvement across operations, formal training in at least one continuous improvement discipline (i.e. Lean / Six Sigma)
• Strong analytical skill set and demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams to quickly analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in P&L statement analysis and driving year-over-year cost reductions.
• Demonstrated ability to interface with, and maintain effective relationships with, all functional departments and employees in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexible and adaptive to change.
