Plant/Process Improvement Engineer - Join a Leading Company

Job Descriptions:

1. To lead and coach and manage all sectional technician or supervisor to achieve the sectional target that has been set.  
2. Work with all stakeholders to plan, monitor progress of improvement projects implement, and ensure proper project handover.
3. To provide continuous training and coaching, develop new Standard Operating Procedures (StOP) for Production Team after process improvement project had fully executed and implemented within Production Dipping Line. 
4. Provide full support and cooperate with other departments in solving Plant equipment, Process, facility and utilities operational problems.
5. Check to ensure safety operating procedures (SOP) have been implemented to prevent accident from happening.
6. Ensure that the daily operations of His section are executed in accordance to the set plan. 
7. Key roles:
   a. To study and improve plant operational process equipment stabilities and efficiency.  
   b. To lead and coach teams on the energy conservation project and process improvement related to Quality Issues.
   c. To include new equipment into preventative maintenance schedule and create, or new maintenance standards for existing and new equipment.
   • Other assigned duties as required

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical /Automation / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 1 - 2 years’ working experience in related field (Fresh graduate for entry level is welcome to apply too). 
3. Knowledge and experience in Process Engineering practice and calculation and experience in Utilities and facilities maintenance.
4. Knowledge and experience in Industrial Burner operation and its related calculation(s) to optimize natural gas consumption for each type of burner (Infrared & Package Burner).
5. Able to lead and coach and manage technician to carry out improvement related to Plant equipment, process improvement of maintenance of mechanical and electrical.
6. Able to set goal and cascade down to technician for plant efficiency pertaining to operating cost, energy conservation, overall down time and talent training and retention. 
7. Exposure to Systematic and positive problem-solving approach. Proactive in initiating improvement suggestion and follow through the improvement. 
8. Have experience in engineering specification and documentation control.
