Primary Music Teacher - Urgent Hiring

Start Date: August 2024 (Term 1 Academic Year 2024/25)

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who believes in continual improvement to join our dynamic Music department. You should have a minimum of two years teaching experience and be prepared to commit a significant amount of time after school to our comprehensive Musical extra-curricular programme. A primary music specialist is required to teach all ages across the primary school. The post will require deliverance of the curriculum in a creative way to develop a love of music.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach all ages across the Primary School
• Deliver curriculum in a creative way to develop a love of music
• Run music clubs, leading Key Stage 1 and 2 singing and choirs
• Assist with Primary assemblies and coordinating Primary school productions

MINIMUM ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Appropriate teaching degree

RELATED EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 years teaching experience

• A working knowledge of GoogleApps and the confidence to work in classrooms with iPads would be an advantage
