Principal (Preschool - Setia Alam, Selangor) - Start Immediately

Job Description

• Provide leadership for setting overall goals for the school as a basis for curriculum objectives
• Responsible for day-to-day management and school operations
• Determine and work closely to meet requirements (eg. licensing, health and safety regulations and local regulatory agencies)
• Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, physical health and academic progress
• Represents the school at community and legislative activities. Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the school operations is in line with the company’s vision, mission, values and culture and in compliance with the relevant regulations and requirements of the various governmental (MOE, PPD etc) and professional bodies
• Mentor teachers to facilitate collaborative approaches to learning, teaching and evaluation so as to raise performance standards and competencies
• Drive Enrolment and Marketing for school
• Prepare budget and control budget expenditures
• Collect tuition fee and manage disbursement of cash for purchases
• Keep adequate records of income and expenditures
• Provide safe and conducive learning environment for students
• Prepare monthly reports for the board and senior management

Job Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Degree in Early Childhood Education, Teaching & Leadership would be an added advantage
• Minimum 2 years teaching and management experience in a childcare/preschool
• Work location at Johor Bahru, Johor / Shah Alam, Selangor
• Creative and inspiring with loving energy.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Possess own transport
